BOOKING WEDDINGS FOR 2026
Luna Moth Blooms is a homestead farm specializing in seasonal cut flowers and produce. We offer floral services using locally and sustainably grown flowers.
Our produce is mainly grown to support ourselves, but we share extra throughout the season at our roadside stand.
This is me! Madeline 🌼
Rocking two types of plaid, and a Newfoundland Sou'wester in the garden.
My love of plants and gardening started when I was young and has followed me throughout my life. Luna Moth Blooms stemmed from a passion for sustainably grown food and natural beauty. And also a small addiction to buying seeds and growing plants...
Anyone who knows me well knows that I am a sucker for a good bug (and a bad one). The name "Luna Moth" is based off the moths life history trait of requiring natural light to orient themselves. The light that orients the moth, is a metaphor. For me this natural light that keeps me "flying up" has been the opportunity to grow and learn alongside nature.
With Care & Appreciation
As a naturalist (not to be confused with naturist), I value creating and maintaining safe spaces that support biodiversity. Minimizing harm is a high priority in my philosophy of growing, aiming to protect precious ecosystem services needed to pollinate, control pests, and increase biomass.
In 2024, I decided to go back to school and do a research thesis for my MA in Sustainability Studies. My thesis will seek to understand the functional diversity of pollinators on small-scale farms, using my own farm as a model. If you see me out in the field with a bug net, this is what I am doing! Come say hello and listen to me talk about my bugs!
Local First
Growing flowers is a dream come true. I love being able to build community and support those who share the same dream through my work with flowers.
